Veterans Memorial Field has seen many changes over the past five years with the latest additions being new dugouts & a new backstop. Other improvements completed in that time frame have been new scoreboard, outfield wall, excavation of outfield and infield, new mound and home plate area, sprinkler system & elevated seating for better fan viewing.

More is to come for Veterans Memorial Field this summer. A new concession stand is to be completed before Kimball Days. A concession stand, field equipment storage, men’s and women’s bathrooms, and an overhang area to keep spectators out of the sun if they wish will all be part of this project which is being financed by an anonymous individual within the Kimball Community..

Good things are still happening in Kimball and more is still to come with a grandstand with press box next on the list of projects to be completed. An exact time frame is not set for this project but within the next 2-3 years it should be started if not completed.
